how late is too late

Awareness needs to be brought to the major effects of not treating mental illness.

Mental health needs to be prioritized and the severity of not addressing a person’s issues needs to be brought to light…

depression, loneliness, anxiety..death

Pointing out the statistics and showing people that they are not alone will encourage acceptance of their illness and promote those suffering to find help as soon as they can.

It’s time to talk about our problems and become vulnerable with one another. This could save someone’s life!

Mental illness is far more common than our society believes and there should be protocol to show those suffering that they are not alone.

If steps are not taken to treat mental health issues a person is more likely to fall into a deeper state of depression, loneliness, anxiety..

that doesn’t sound too great to me… how about you?

These disorders lead to extreme outcomes when not addressed.

In several cases, untreated mental illness has lead to suicide.

One in five U.S. citizens experience mental illness each year…

sure that statistic seems small, as you begin grouping a large group of college students that number adds up substantially!

Depression, bipolar disorder, ptsd are a few of the many illnesses that can lead to suicide, and while that is a daunting statement to admit, we must begin bringing to life the possibility of what will happen if we do not support and aid those suffering through their mental illnesses

Here’s a graphic to put things into perspective:
